Clubs have entered the Cheshire Cup in 2012. The dates for each round are given with the draw. Matches may be played on dates other than those specified with the agreement of the Competition Secretary. All matches must start by 1:30pm and the Final will start at 12:30pm. Each match will be of 45 overs per team, of which no bowler may bowl more than 9 overs. Losing teams from Round 2 will go into the draw for the Cheshire Shield, provided they have played their matches in Round 2. Because of the number of teams whcih have entered this year, there will be no Preliminary Round (Round 1). All teams will enter the competition at Round 2 stage, other than ECB Premiership teams who will enter at Round 3.
